WD-40, the popular lubricant an do a lot of stuff other than lubricate. It will clean anything from crayon marks to dissolving hard water (calcium) deposits in your shower heads…
I once discovered a load of clothes that I washed and Dried that there was Red crayon all over the clothes. I had several pieces of clothing that were new in that wash. I was devistated. I thought to call the Tide company and they didn’t have anything to use from their products( this was around 1990) but the nice lady from Tide said to use Ivory Snow baby laundry detergent (powder)and Baking Soda. Use half and half according to size of load. Let clothes soak in Hot water and mixture in washing machine and wash. Every bit came out then I dried.
For most hard surfaces, all you need is a napkin or paper towel and a quick moving elbow. The friction created when you rub the crayon markings on counter tops/tables/plastic toys etc. will create enough warmth to melt the crayon and it will end up off of the surface and onto the paper towel! I’ve used this method over and over and it works every time!
Mr. clean sponges work best for everything. Clothing and hard surfaces.
