Wax can easily be removed from most surfaces with a few easy steps. If the wax has been pushed down into the carpet, it may take several repeated attempts. Use the remove methods found in our guide How to Remove Wax from Carpet. For the areas where it is deep within the carpet, spread the fibers as much as possible and push the paper or cloth into the separation of the carpet fibers. Apply the heat to absorb the wax into the paper. Repeat in small sections until all of the wax is removed. Use caution not to allow the iron to come in direct contact with the carpet fibers as it could scorch them.
