    To clean removable furnace filter, or filter in range hood

    Place carefully in the dishwasher so as not to damage any fine wires and then run it through the normal or the short cycle. I do not use the heat cycle for drying–just the fan without heat. Our furnace has two large filters and only one will fit at a time. The filters in the range hood can be washed along with the dishes.
