To clean an extractor fan cover. Take the cover down (especially the one over the cooker or cook top) and lay it on a few sheets of old newspaper outside. Spray it liberally with a low fume oven spray and leave for a few minutes. Dunk the cover in a bowl of soaping water and use an old nail brush to gently brush away the grease build-up from kitchen fumes. Rinse, dry and replace. Works a treat every time.
