Very easy to clean those dirty microwaves. Take a wash cloth and rinse it with cold water. squeeze out just a little bit of water, leaving the rag saturated. then place the cloth in the mircowave and cook for 2 minutes. once complete, be careful the rag will be hot, but take the same rag and clean the inside of microwave and walla you have a clean microwave
I just squeeze a lemon in a small bowl, add some water. Microwave until water is boiling for about 20 seconds or so. Remove bowl, take wash cloth, dip in hot lemon juice/water and wipe down the inside of microwave. SO EASY!
I love heating things up in the microwave but I always end up with a weeks worth of food splattered on the sides and on the roof. I hate it. However, I have found a way to make it easy as pie.
You take a cup of water, stick it in the microwave, and turn it on for about two (2) minutes. Because the water heats up it creates steam and that losens all the gunk that is on the sides of the microwave. So what you get is a easly cleaned microwave and a nice hot cup of water that you can make your morning coffee or tea with!
Put one cup of water and 1/4 vinegar in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2-5 minutes, or until water boils. Then remove bowl and wipe the surface of the microwave clean. The steam from the mixture in the bowl cleans the stuck on food and other substances from the surface of the microwave.
Cleaning microwave is a hectic job..if you clean it every fortnight then you can enjoy a good microwaving…if we got serious dirt then take a microwave safe bowl put five tablespoon lemon juice,add 300ml water and one teaspoon of salt and set microwave at high wait till it boils keep microwave for standby for two minute remove the bowl(don’t throw it we’ll use it later) switch off microwave clean the surface with a rough cloth..take a gasoline dip the small part of cloth in it and rub it on tough stains be careful don’t scratch the paint..clean all linings…after some time dry out whole microwave take a dishwasher solvent in 200 ml water apply it with a cloth to all places and then take a dry cloth and rub all the tough stains..then after few minutes start microwave and boil 200ml water or the solution which we heated at first stageboil it again this will remove all kind of smell from ur microwave and all stains will be definately being removed…its very effective…try it
If your microwave really gets dirty, like dried spaghetti or any kind of dried gravies, just anything hard to clean, including grease, spray it the inside with foam bathroom cleaner. I sounds really awkward, but it works. Spray and let it set there for a minute and just wipe away. Also, if you have a Dollar Tree store in your area, they make a cleaning spray called Awesome. This will also do the job.
A microwave safe bowl about 3/4 full of water, a few drops of vanilla essence…..put it in the microwave, set for about 4 minutes and hit the ‘go’ button. When the time is up I usually let it sit for a minute or two to let the steam do it’s job, then just wipe down the inside with paper towels, the spills and cooked on splatters just wipe straight off. Dispose of the paper towels and the job is done. The vanilla leaves your microwave with a nice fresh smell.
***Be careful when you lift out the bowl of water because it will be very hot.
Making a paste out of baking soda and water will remove any of those nasty yellow stains without scratching or damaging the microwave itself.
