do not blot or rub the grease or oil. Get white talc powder - put the powder on the grease or oil on the clothing - let it stay for as long as you possible, take a cloth, and brush the spot. The powder has absorbed the grease or oil and will be removed with the brushing of the area.
My Grandmother taught me this tip… Works about 90 to 100% of the time I even use it for set in Grease/Oil Stains…
Baby Powder or Talcum Powder… Place enough powder to cover the stain, I usually place on both sides of fabric & pat it into the material & let sit for 24 hours & then launder as you would normally… For old set in oil stains, it may take more than one application, either way it will get lighter/less noticable…
