There are many shampoos that claim to clean dandruff, but most fail to do so, there are better natural ways for doing so.
To save your hair from chemicals in the shampoo & also to control dandruff use curd or lemon to clean your hair every other day or once every 2 days.

Apply lemon or curd to your hair thoroughly & leave it for 5 minutes, after 5 mins wash it completely with luke-warm water.
Try it & see the result in 20 days.

I use an equate brand Listerine. Pour it over your head, being very careful not to get any in your eyes. Let it set for 2 minutes and rinse, then shampoo(watch out for cuts downstream). Once a week for 3 weeks. Usually works for a long time. For me and my family, at least.

put baby oil or regular cooking oil on your head ({ saturate it})
and let it sit over night, do it once a week, use a nit comb to get the loose stuff out and do it for about a month ( dont forget to wash your hair the morning after you put oil in it or youll have a greasy mess :P…. it works wonders for me and keeps my hair nice and soft and helps my scalp keep moisture…
