With kids in and out all day long, a teacher’s classroom becomes very messy, germy, and dirty. I use anti-bacterial wipes on my desks everyday after school, I clean my white board with a special spray, and I spray my room with lysol or some other product. I try to keep myself healthy as well as all of my kids.
I always use baby wipes to clean my white board. They remove excess ink and make my classroom smell great! (Be sure to leave time for the board to dry before writing on it again)
To remove (some) ink and pencil marks that are left behind on desks, use hand sanitizer. This removes most marks and is less harsh than some of the commercial chemicals out there.
