Dip brush in Murpheys Oil (available at grocery store) and water, rinse. Repeat several times. The plaint comes out easily. For dried paint dip brush in Murpheys Oil and slip into plastic bag to soak. Rinse the following day.
You should use a paint thinner and pour a small amount on brush. Then push on the brush as if you were painting. The paint should come out. Then pour a little more to make sure the paint is all out. You can also try soaking the brush in a small amount of paint thinner over night.

When cleaning oil paint off brushes, I use my ‘Neutrogena; Oil Free Ance Wash’. The paint slides right off and It’s cheaper than Turpenoid or paint thinner…and chances are you’ll use it for more than cleaning brushes
Heard a way to clean paintbrushes was with lemons & hot water, but not sure of the quantities. (Two lemons to a quart of water?)

Mix a cap full of softner in a few cups of water, dip brush in mixture, rinse, repeat until clean. Makes the paint just slide out of brush.
