We strive to keep our content as high-quality and accurate as possible. If you would like to contribute a guest post, it must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered.
- Sign the Guest Writer Agreement
It’s a simple, one-page agreement and a requirement for our liability insurance. Include a (scanned is fine) signed copy of this with your submission or it will not be considered. - Unique experience or qualifications
You should have either personal experience or unique qualifications which would label you as an expert or at the very least, a professional in the field in which you are writing. Sources for your claims (personal experiences are fine) must be indicated within the article. Make sure you explain why you are uniquely qualified to write on your chosen subject. - Substantive posts and original content
If an article feels too short, or lacks enough depth to thoroughly cover it’s subject material, it will be sent back. Your article should contain no less than 1000 words. Whenever possible, back up your claims with research or personal stories/experiences. Your guest post should contain easily-understandable, actionable information and not require any purchases or transactions to be used immediately by our readers. You may include information about your service or business in a byline that will be published with your article (subject to our approval). - For a better chance of success, discuss your contribution with us first
Use the form below to run a few topical ideas past us and we can open a dialogue about your guest post before investing your valuable time and effort on the post itself. We know our audience and if we work together, there is a much better chance that your guest post will be a hit. - Send your draft as either an MS Word Doc, or in HTML, formatted for WordPress
Images for the post can be provided by us, but if you have (and own the copyright to) any images that would lend credibility to your article, they can be included as an attachment when submitting. - Remember that we have final approval
We reserve the right to delete or rework sections entirely at our discretion. Mostly we do this for clarity and formatting requirements.
If all of the above is understood and acceptable to you, complete the following Guest Post Request form and open a dialogue with us:
